  1. 1.A 30-second ask: intro to {{specificPerson}}?
  2. 2.Know anyone at {{specificCompany}}?
  3. 3.Refer {{product}} — both sides get {{benefit}}
  4. 4.Quick ask: do you know a {{specificICP}}?
  5. 5.Would you forward {{newsletter}} to one person?
  6. 6.Looking to talk to {{specificICP}} — intros?
  7. 7.Six referrals in, three closed — thanks
  8. 8.Refer-a-friend updated — new bonus
  9. 9.If you'd recommend us — one favor
  10. 10.Three names that come to mind?

What makes these work

Referral-ask subjects work best when they're specific about what's being asked. 'A 30-second ask: intro to {{specificPerson}}?' beats 'Quick favor?' by a wide margin. Naming the person or the type of intro pre-commits the recipient to what they'd actually be doing. Avoid vague 'do you know anyone who...' framing; specific asks generate specific replies. For customer referral programs, lead with the benefit to both sides ('Get {{rewardAmount}} for referring a friend; they get {{discount}}').
