What makes these work

Founder-signed subjects benefit from a personal frame. 'A note from {{founderName}}' or 'On the {{topic}} change' signal the recipient that this isn't a marketing blast. The subjects that work earn opens because of who's writing, not what's being pitched — so the founder identity should be unambiguous. Avoid corporate framing ('Important update from {{company}}') on founder sends; it dilutes the personal cue. For acquisition, price changes, incident postmortems, and other tense moments, founder-signed subjects substantially outperform brand-signed ones.
